Welcome to The Primary Theme Park!
My name is Stephanie Trapp. I’ve been married for seventeen years and I have two children: an eleven year old daughter and a seven year old son. I was born and raised in the Heart of Dixie, but have called Kentucky home for the last fourteen years. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, camping, hiking, decorating, and attempting to sew. I absolutely love watching SEC College Football.
In 2000, I graduated from the University of North Alabama with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I spent a year in third grade, two in fourth grade, and half a year as a Title I reading teacher and the other half of the year in fifth grade. I also have experience teaching Autistic students in the mainstream classroom.
After several years of teaching in public schools, I left the classroom when my first child was born and became a stay-at-home mom. I always thought I’d return to teaching once my children went to school themselves, and in a way I did: seven years ago I began homeschooling. Between my public school teaching experience and years of homeschooling, I’ve taught every grade from pre-K to 5th.
At The Primary Theme Park, my desire is to provide high-quality, engaging educational materials and resources for homeschool and regular classroom use. So whether your class meets at your kitchen table or in a room full of desks, tables, and twenty-something bright faces, I hope you find something here for you.
